Sixteen selected works below large scale canvas oil and acrylic. 68 inch x 68 inch by artist luxman

Artist luxman explore below  the profound and striking studies of "Crucifixion" and  Last Strings of the Citar for Marsyas—two fascinating creations that encapsulate the artistic visions of two masters, Francis Bacon and Hyman Bloom. These artists, each unique in their backgrounds—Bacon, the Irishman in England, and Bloom, the Latvian-born Jewish American—crafted compelling narratives through their paintings that resonate with themes of suffering, humanity, and existential inquiry. Both Bacon and Bloom tackled similar subject matter, often reflecting their personal struggles and societal observations, suggesting a mutual influence despite their creative differences. Bacon's haunting depictions delve into the darker aspects of the human psyche, illustrating the agony of existence, while Bloom’s vibrant canvases evoke a sense of transcendence and the interplay between life and death. Together, these works provide a rich tapestry of emotional and philosophical exploration, inviting viewers to reflect on the profound implications of their subjects. Artist Luxman celebrate this intersection of human experience as embodied in the pieces by these two underappreciated masters while they alive now ranked as some of the best of the 20th century.
